| THE DROPPER Aug 23, 1999 I am an INDIAN and the health conditions here are very poor.Since nowadays the fear of AIDS is increasing at a faster rate I wanted to ask you a question. One of my frind attended a blood donation camp some days ago. She doesn't remember whether the dropper (the cappilary dropper),used to draw blood from the pricked finger to check heamoglobin count, was clean or having some blood deposites on it of the earlier donor so my Q. to you: 1)can one use the same dropper used to someone other without sterilising or washing it? 2)and if it happens then can the previous person's blood (which may be on the dropper tip) can be mixed with next person's body-blood i.e. can next person be infected with the previous person's blood? |
