| Length of time for test culture to be accurate Mar 1, 1999 Dear Dr. H. I took a blood test 14 weeks after possable exposure on a wednesday afternoon and the results were back on that friday and i showed non-reactive ... is two days long enough to get accurate results from my blood culture ... I don't know what testing method they used ... got three months to go ... still scared constipated :-) |

I can't tell what test they did either. You need to know! Ask! I doubt they did a culture. That would take 2 weeks or longer for results and isn't done nowadays. Antibody tests and PCR/viral load tests can be done in 1-2 days. MH | |||
