| indeterminate twice Aug 16, 2001 I had a hiv test and it came back indeterminate,waited 3 weeks,had another(same lab)came back indeterminate again.Haven't had a partner in over a year and am not a drug user.My new gyno did a whole series of STD tests .My question is,if i was infected years ago,wat would my results say now?I also have 2 children and ws told sometimes bearing children could throw off a test,also i read where if you're in contact with animals alot,there are certain virus's humans can pick up which will throw a test off also,i do work for a veterinarian.I'm reallyworried about this,please help! |

It requires some further information to interpret these results. Was a screening HIV antibody test performed that was positive, after which a confirmatory western blot was interpreted as being indeterminate?? Or were screening antibody tests reported as indeterminate? If the western blots were indeterminate, what was the band pattern on the test? | |||
