SUB-TYPE/STRAIN CENTRAL AMERICA (COSTA RICA)

Dear Dr. Holodniy,

What sub-type or strain is found in Central America...namely Costa Rica? Also, after a period of time (years) would the strain be picked-up by ELISA tests used in the U.S. Thanks for your great support you provide to the worried well. Warmest regards.

Subtype B would be most common and is detected by all approved antibody assays.
