CD4 count
Jun 29, 1999

I have been testing negative on antibody tests for 15 months now but have developed mild anemia with a CD4 count that went from 558 to 816 in a matter of 4 months. Is it normal for non HIV infected people to have such a change in Cd4 counts? Also developing mild anemia at the same time? This all started after a possible exposure. Also am having other physical symptoms. Thanks for your response.

Response from Dr. Holodniy

The normal CD4 count range is 550-1500. It can naturally vary within a day and between days. MH
