spleen??? Aug 4, 2001 Doctor, I read that most people infected with hiv will have an enlarged and swollen spleen as a symptom. Is this true? How can one know if one's spleen is enlarged or swollen? |

 Enlargement of the spleeen (an immune system organ), is a very nonspecific finding, which occurs in a variety of diseases. It can be detected by exam or by different kinds of imaging tests. | ||
