:( worried sick..Laryngitis a symptom of HIV??
Jun 12, 2001
Hello Dr. Holodniy..I had a risky sexual encounter (condom broke so he took it off during sex) roughly 3 months ago with a guy who claims to be clean from HIV and other STD's. About two weeks later i developed laryngitis and a very sore throat and cough (severely congested)...I know a sore throat can be a symptom, but is laryngitis ever present as a symptom? Now, about three months later I'm experiencing pelvic aching, minor headaches, a rash on my arm and inner thigh, etc. ..I'm hoping that I'm just searching for symptoms out of paranoia...But I would like to know your opinion on my 'symptoms' so far. What are my chances of having HIV? I'm worrying myself sick. Thanks so much for your time.

If you think you are at risk you should get tested.
