:( worried sick..Laryngitis a symptom of HIV?? Jun 12, 2001 Hello Dr. Holodniy..I had a risky sexual encounter (condom broke so he took it off during sex) roughly 3 months ago with a guy who claims to be clean from HIV and other STD's. About two weeks later i developed laryngitis and a very sore throat and cough (severely congested)...I know a sore throat can be a symptom, but is laryngitis ever present as a symptom? Now, about three months later I'm experiencing pelvic aching,minor headaches, a rash on my arm and inner thigh, etc. ..I'm hoping that I'm just searching for symptoms out of paranoia...But I would like to know your opinion on my 'symptoms' so far. What are my chances of having HIV? I'm worrying myself sick. Thanks so much for your time. |
