|Heat resistance of HIV virus cells vs. RBCs

Has there been any research performed regarding the ability to destroy HIV cells using heat (while not impacting RBCs)? Do you think this is possible given the DNA/RNA structure of HIV virus cells versus the protein and lipid bilayer of the RBC? I know that proteins can be more variable (such as the Taq polymerase molecule used in PCR). Any idea as to what temperatures would be necessary (or detrimental to RBCs)? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am not a protein chemist. Heat will destroy the virus, and will also destroy RBCs. I don't know what the differential temperature, if any, might be. I am not aware of any research looking at this specific question. MH
