follow up on german measles
Jun 1, 2001

I tested at 12 and a half weeks negative but I got these rashes a day after getting my negative. My dermatologist says it looks like german measles, he did a CBC which came out normal and he says that it was a mild case of rubella that it did not even affect my CBC numbers. He is saying this because I did not get a fever with the rash. In my mind, what if this is part of ARS, does the rash associated with ARS look like german measles that spreads to arms, legs and the trunk.

Response from Dr. Holodniy

Not usually.
