HBV

Aug 12, 2018

I did a LFT of recently and my Bilirubin is high

Bilirubin total = 1.59 Bilirubin direct = 0.62

and also am an HBV patient with HBV viral load 2222 IU/ml

my formal HBV viral load was >170,000,000 IU/ml 7momths ago.

what is wrong with the Bilirubin? what is wrong with me

Response from Dr. Holodniy

You don't indicate whether you have received HBV treatment, are taking any other medications, or have any other active medical problems. HBV infection can cause an increase in bilirubin, all that laboratory finding is nonspecific and many things could be causing this.
