Is 4.96E+6 IU/mL <615 IU/L?

Nov 26, 2017

Hello, my Hep C RNA Viral Load was detected as 4.96E+6 IU/mL. Just wondering is this number is less than 615 IU/L?

Response from Dr. Holodniy

No, your HCV viral load is 4.96 million IU/mL, which is about average for someone with chronic HCV infection. So that result is much higher than a value of 615 IU/mL.

RPR Positive
HBV PCR quantitative result
