hbv load test

Oct 22, 2017

My last hbv viral load test result is less than 6IU/ML (less than 0.77 logs) is normal or not and any other way to cure permanently pls give Ur suggestions pls.

Response from Dr. Holodniy

There is no such thing as a "normal" HBV viral load. You are either infected with HBV, in which case the HBV viral load is detectable, or you are not infected, in which case there is no detectable HBV viral load. Although that results is a very low HBV viral load, you don't indicate whether you have received HBV treatment or not, and if so, for how long and with what. In addition, other HBV tests may be required to determine the next appropriate step. I suggest you discuss these results with a liver specialist.
