Syphilis RPR reactive with 1.32?
Oct 7, 2017
I got treated for syphilis with doxycycline for a whole month in july 2016. In dec 2016 i got tested and it was reactive with 1.4 , then again on april 2017 and it still was 1.4. Now i got tested on october 2017 and is reactive with 1.32, what does this mean?? Do i have to go back to get re-treated? Whats the lowest level of infection? And can I transmit it to my parter if Im 1.32? I dont have any physical symptoms.

You don't indicate what the RPR titer was prior to treatment last year. Assuming no possibility of re-infection during this time frame, additional testing, evaluation, or treatment might be indicated. I suggest you consult with ann infectious disease specialist regarding this.
