My VL is 53000, partner's is 1880, who has had it longer?

Sep 14, 2013

Hi, my cd4 level is 402 and my VL is 53,000. My partner's CD4 level is 586 and VL is 1880... can these numbers tell who has had the virus longer?

Response from Dr. Holodniy

No, unfortunately a viral load result or CD4 count will not help determine longevity of infection.

Question about labs please:
cd4 n cd4% decreases
