I was recently diagnosed with syphillis with a titter of 1:1. I was put on doxycycline, 100 mg for 2 weeks. Half way done with treatment. What are the implications of a 1:1 titter with HIV present, 11 yrs, on truvada, reyatez and novir. Not sure what it means to be 1:1reactive

In general, assuming you are relaying results of the RPR titer, that is a very low titer. We usually use the titer to follow treatment response and look for a 4-fold decrease in titer as an indication that treatment has worked. Unfortunately in you, the titer is already as low as it gets. Therefore it is difficult to follow any treatment response in you. Obviously, if the titer goes up that could reflect treatment failure or reinfection. The RPR test can remain positive for years after successful treatment, so a continued titer of 1:1 does not mean treatment has failed.
