| 20 week ARS? May 7, 2001 Hi Dr. Holodniy! Thanks again for your wonderful work on this forum. I'm the guy who lives in the sticks who feels he may have experienced ARS Symptoms at week 20 (rash on back/chest, headache, sore throat, muscle ache). I've tested negative at week 16 and most recently again at week 21. Can ARS present itself this late in the cycle? (It seems like most of the literature says 2-4 weeks, possible more. I have had no risk encounters whatsoever in the interim). Even if it was seroconvcersion, wouldn't my test a week later pick it up? Any feedback/suggestions are greatly appreciated! |

Response from Dr. Holodniy
ARS symptoms have not been described in documented cases that started 20 weeks after an infection. | |||||||||
