|Not sure about being POS
Nov 25, 2012
Good Day Doctors. As always, THANK YOU for helping us !!! My Story starts in July this Year, I got very sick, had Hepatitis A. Also to mention, I had Hep B about 20 Years ago. When I got sick in July this Year with Hep A, a HIV Test was also done , two Tests were "doubtful" , the an ELISA Test showed me POS . Since then I am on ARV's. Two Days ago I did 3 HIV Tests again , and 2 of them were NEG , and one was not 100% NEG. The Test done was: ALWAYS ACCURATE = NEG , ACON = NEG, and HOMEMED = not 100% NEG , am not to sure what to think now . I am on ATRIPLA for almost a Month now . I believe very strongly I am NEGATIVE ,or maybe it is just wishful thinking . Do you have an Answer for me ? THANK YOU again, and Greetings from South Africa.

I don't see the results of a HIV western blot test. These all appear to be screening and rapid HIV test results. Being on Atripla complicates the interpretation. This is only likely to be resolved by western blot or HIV DNA PCR testing.
