HIV Medication

Hi doctor, I am from india last year september me and my wife tested HIV+ved after that we had started an ayurvedic medicine for HIV these are numbers for both of us respectively

My numbers --------- 09/2011 380 180000 15/03/2012 302 0 14/05/2012 482 inhibtion detected 02/09/2012 494 35772

my wife numbers --------------- 09/2011 160 44144 15/03/2012 147 21793 02/09/2012 130 51435

i would like to know how critical these numbers are

Your CD4 is much higher than your wife's. The normal range for CD4 count is 500-1500. By definition, since her CD4 count is <200, she has an AIDS diagnosis, and is at risk for serious infections. She needs HIV medication treatment now. Although you could hold off on starting HIV treatment, it would be advisable to start as well to preserve your immune system and not let it deteriorate to point where your wife now is.
