 Your CD4 is much higher than your wife's. The normal range for CD4 count is 500-1500. By definition, since her CD4 count is <200, she has an AIDS diagnosis, and is at risk for serious infections. She needs HIV medication treatment now. Although you could hold off on starting HIV treatment, it would be advisable to start as well to preserve your immune system and not let it deteriorate to point where your wife now is. | ||||||||
