In February of 2010 scientists at UCLA discovered a Compound that " attacks the virus lipid sack, as well as the lipid membrane of healthy cells. But whereas the healthy cells can easily repair the damage, the inert viruses simply fall apart. "
This discovery could lead to broad spectrum ARV drugs that act like an antibiotic .
I have not heard another mention of this compound since feb 2010, are there any updates on LJ001? if not I wonder why.

I did not see any more recent scientific publications on this compound. Hard to know why.
