| IU/ml convert to copies/ml in NASBA Mar 25, 2012 HIV RNA viral load can be measured in different way. In our lab before 2007, we used NASBA method to measure HIV RNA titier. Since 2008, Real time PCR method has been used. I have a difficulty in comparing values performed by those two different way. HIV RNA titer measured by NASBA method was reported in IU/ml. and HIV RNA measured by RT PCR was reported in copies/ml. How can I convert value of IU/ml by NASBA method to value of copies/ml by RT PCR ? |

Not sure I can help you. All the package inserts and publications, including those that go back to 2001 report NASBA results as copies/mL. | |||||||||
