You don't indicate why these tests were obtained. There appears to be syphilis tests and a rheumatoid factor, which is usually obtained when someone is being worked up for arthritis like rheumatoid arthritis. Given they are all positive, it presents a confusing picture as to what is going on. In many cases with both of those syphilis tests being positive that could confirm the diagnosis, but those tests could also be positive for years in people who have been successfully treated. To answer your question, yes it is possible to acquire syphilis from someone who has been diagnosed with it. | |||||||||
