Hi Dr. Like anyone who has HIV I have been following the debates about how it affects lifespan and have to say Im confused. We hear it may knock a couple of years off to once you start treatment you ll last 15 years. I started treatment aged 39 nadir cd4 of 200 12% VL > 100,000. Im now 44 CD4 590 28% VL undect <20. Non smoker,healthy,2 year plus remission from PEL and KS. HHV8 neg and other bloods all normal. Whats your view of my chances of getting past that 15 year bit as I ve now only got 10 of them left! ;) Thanks
