The details are given below: HBsAG = >3.0 (positive) HBeAG = 0.472 (Non Reactive) (Negative) HBeAB = 0.02 (Positive) HBV Quantitative Report (Diagnosis by Real Time PCR) = 3319 IU/ml Haemoglobin = 15.8 g/dl ESR (westergrens) = 04 mm 1st hr RBC Count = 4.82 million/ul Platelet Count = 182000 ul WBC Count = 6800 ul Neutrophils = 45% Lymphocytes = 52% Monocytes = 01% Eosinophils = 02% PCV (Hct) = 0.43 l/l MCV = 91.1 fl MCH = 32.8 Pg MCHC = 36.0 g/dl I want to ask the followings: Does my Hepatitis B is Acute or Chronic? Does my Case is serious? There are many medicines that are approved for Hepatitis B. Which one you advised me to use? Thanks |

It is hard to determine from these tests how long you have been infected. The HBV viral load is very low. There are many drugs that will be effective in your case and the treatment options should be discussed with your doctor. | |||||||||
