| RPR vs VDRL Dec 19, 2010 I recently had blood drawn for school. The required test was the VDRL test, but the nurse ordered the VDRL and RPR test because she was not familiar with the VDRL test. I recieved my results a few days later which showed a negative VDRL titer but a RPR of 1:1. Does this mean I need additional tests or is the RPR a false positive? |

Yes, you need an additional confirmatory test to determine your status. | |||
