Hi. Was diagnosed poz in November. Latest tests show my viral load at 12000 and cd4 at 358. Doctor says wait til Feb for further checks and not to start treatment yet. I'm worried that the cd4 count seems low. I feel very fit and healthy and am very active. I'm 35 years old.

It's not unreasonable to get another snapshot of numbers and see what the trend is. If your numbers are stable or going down, then you need to start treatment. If your CD4 count has increased into the 4-500 range with the same viral load level, then some experts say you could wait a bit to start.
