CD4 COUNTS Nov 14, 2010 i have just been diagnose with HIV and my Cd4 counts is 276.what does this mean to my heath and what drugs are my supposed to take?i have been give ceptrim and multi vitamins and am told to start treatment soon.how do i increase my cd4 counts and what should i do to stay healthy.am so scared and have sleepless nite.pls help me |

 A CD4 countof 276 means the virus has done some significant damage to your immmune system. The good news is that starting HIV treatment will result in controlling the virus and your CD4 count and immune system will improve dramatically. HIV treatment is the key to increasing your CD4 count. | ||||||||
