I was recently was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and started on medication. In the last threeo weeks I have developed severe joint pain and stiffness in my hands. Could this related to the HIV and/or the medication?

You don't indicate what your CD4 count was before starting, which HIV meds they are, or whether you had any ongoing infections or medical problems prior to starting treatment. In general, your symptoms would not be the result of starting most HIV med combinations.
