How will i know i have got rid of Syphillis? Jul 17, 2010 I have been diagnosed and treated for Syphillis. Doctor gave me 3 doses of Benzathine 6 penicillin 2.4 MU in Nov 2009. How ill i know if i have got rid of the disease after the treatment. Even after 8 months i still have got symotoms of syphillis( as read over the net)- headaches, tiredness, hairfall(severe), pain in legs, stiffness of neck etc. i consulted my doctor again and according to her my disease is cured and i need to wait for atleast 2 years, but the symptoms scare me. Please help |

 That should be an appropriate treatment course for syphilis. Those symptoms are very nonspecific and could be the result of many other things. | ||||||||
