I want to ask you Are devices used to measure the viral load of HIV-Aids is the same equipment to measure the viral load of hepatitis what is wrong with that if there was a mistake?

Response from Dr. Holodniy

Yes, several of the assay platforms can measure HIV and HCV viral load and many labs do measure both. But not usually at the same time and with a whole set of different reagents to perform the test.
