| HEPA B PROFILE RESULT Oct 31, 2009 I applied for abroad 2 years ago but unfortunately i wasn't able to make it because of being positive in hepa b.I had a second opinion way back then because i can't believe that i'm a carrier,the doctor said i have a strong antigen. I decided to have a hepa b profile last week to check if it is still in my blood.Please interpret the result.HEPA B SURFACE ANTIGEN,REACTIVE,300.15(patients count)2.0(cut-off value), ANTI-HBs, NON-REACTIVE, 0.0(patients count)10.0(cut-off value),ANTI-HBC,REACTIVE,0.036(patients count)1.0(cut-off value),HBE-ANTIGEN,NON-REACTIVE,0.24(patients count)1.0(cut-off value),ANTI-HBE,REACTIVE,0.037(patients count)1.0(cut-off value),ANTI-HAV(IoG),REACTIVE,0.078(patients count)1.001(cut-off value). Please help me on these.What is the best thing that i can do to be cleared on hepa b.thank you very much. |

You are still a chronic carrier given the surface antigen is positive. You should discuss this with your doctor or a liver specialist. | ||||||||||
