| on-going studies for perinatally infected children? Sep 13, 2009 I am currently working for a Health Management Alliance in New Mexico. I have a perinatally infected client who has just turned 18. He had a brief stint of drug therapy as a child, but has essentially lived untreated for the majority of his life, and is doing well. His CD4 count and viral load are good, and the doctors do not feel the need to start medications any time soon. Are there any on-going studies that deal with perinataly infected, long term survivors living with HIV? Thank you. |

You might check out the NISDI study: http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00339612. There is a clinical site in Mexico city. They are looking for subjects up to age 21. | ||||||||||
