are my HBV DNA and 2nd count numbers too high?
Aug 23, 2009

Hi,I just got my blood test number back, indicates DNA count is 7,390, and 2nd count is 16,000 are these number too high? what is the normal number of these 2? thank you so much.

Response from Dr. Holodniy

There are no "normal" numbers for HBV viral load. Although this is a very low level of HBV viral load, such a result likely indicates chronic infection with HBV.
