| Standard Procedure Jul 19, 2009 My doctor drew blood for my HIV test the same day she gave me a flu and a hep vaccine. I tested positive but i've heard that it isn't standard to do so. Should I get retested? |

YOu don't indicate what HIV tests were performed. The standard approach is to get a screening antibody test followed by a western blot test for confirmation. | ||||||||||
