Jun 14, 2009

I am on Triomune 30mg from April 2002.These are my latest reports. can you please interpret these and suggest me further? HIV-1 RNA PCR-ULTRAQNT H 5290 copy/mL LYMPHOCYTE ENUMERATION % CD3+/CD45+ (T-CELLS) 65.8 % ABSOLUTE CD3+ LYMPHOCYTE COUNT L 563 ìL % CD3+/CD4+ (T-HELPER CELLS) 46.7 % ABSOLUTE CD4+ LYMPHOCYTE COUNT 401 /ìL % CD3+/CD8+ (T-SUPPRESSOR CELLS) L 14.2 % ABSOLUTE CD8+ LYMPHOCYTE COUNT L 122 /ìL CD4/CD8 RATIO H 3.29

Response from Dr. Holodniy

You have a low, but detectable viral load, a CD4 count of 401 and percent of 46.7%, which are almost in the normal range. These are very good numbers, but I would be a little concerned as to why your viral load is detectable while taking HIV meds.
