RE: Enhancing CD4 Count May 17, 2009 Regarding the question from the person whose CD4 count is stuck at 150.... Don't give up hope. My CD4 was 128 at diagnosis. After getting on meds, it s l o w l y.... rose to 230 or so and stayed there for 2.5 years - then.... at three month intervals jumped to 350. 490. 590 and 645 - where it stayed pretty much for 6 months. Six months later - today (just got my results) it is 825!! Why the change?... who knows. We're all different I guess. Just because you haven't moved beyond 150, you shouldn't give up hope. Heck, 150 is a lot better than 12!!! Be well buddy! -TSH |
