| CD4 and Viral Load, am I really Positive May 10, 2009 My first CD4 Count and Viral load could was good. the CD4 was 555 and my Viral Load was Undetectable at 48 copies my second test was even better, CD4 was 780 and Undetectable at 48 Copies. Here is the stinger of it all, 3 days beforeI was tested for HIV I had just finished taking Antibiotics for a really bad Sinus infection. My doctor yesterday is retesting me (western Blot and Elisa) because I dont have a Viral Load, and because I was sick when I was tested last. He really thinks that there should have been something showing up. What is your take on this? Could there have been a false positive at play for both the western blot and the Elisa? |
