Hep B infection
Mar 22, 2009

Hello there, I am seeking for your help. My boyfriend and I are concerning about our immunity status regarding HepB. My blood test result shown: Hepatitis B surface antibody quant > 1000 mIU/ml while my boyfriend blood test shown: Hep B Core Ab, Tot Positive. Hep B surface Ab 77.77H. What does it mean? It seems like my boyfriend has HepB positive and I wonder if I am protected from getting HepB from hime? I have been worrying about that. Thank you so much for your help, I hope to hear from you soon.

Response from Dr. Holodniy

You both have immunity.
