I just learned in late November that I was HIV+. My specialist immediately had blood tests taken and my viral load was 57,000 and my CD4 count was 15. I started Atripla immediately. Last week the blood tests were done again and my viral load is now undetectable however my CD4 count is only 20. Will the antiviral meds ever increase my CD4 count up to 200 or should I expect the worst since I am classified as having Aids? Thanks

Your CD4 count will indeed increase significantly, and no I would not expect the worst. The lower your CD4 count is when you start the longer it may take to recover. The first step is to get the viral load under control, which it appears the Atripla has done.
