need help!!!!
Feb 15, 2009

What roes it mean when you have aids for almost 4 yrs. and then start making a comeback however all your tests show nonreactive and is it possible for your tests to false positive if you were born with a weekend immune system the only thing that has showed positive was the index which that showed inconclusive the acctual test didn`t show anything at all but now I have been droped as a paitient cause the doctor no longer wants to see me so whats going on should I keep getting retested???

Response from Dr. Holodniy

You don't indicate what HIV tests were performed to establish an HIV diagnosis, what lab tests or clinical problems lead to an AIDS diagnosis, or what your current CD4 count and HIV viral load result is. So it is difficult to answer the question.
