over 26 years positiv
Jan 31, 2009

I have been HIV + for at least 26 years. I'm not taking any treatment drugs. I never had any opportunistic infections. 19 Years ago I tested my blood the last time: CD4 690/mm3, CD8 550/mm3. One ELISA test was negativ, but with western blot positiv. Further tests were positiv. What do you think obout all this? from switzerland

Response from Dr. Holodniy

You don't indicate what your current numbers are. I think you need an updated set of labs including a CD4 count and HIV viral load test.
