Probably sounds like a sci-fi story but there was an article on a magazine focused on nanotechnology claiming that we are close to a scientific revolution. The possibility of building machines so small that they're able to ride a germ or a virus and that they could release microquantities of medicine or attack bacteria and tumors directly should be possible in near future, maybe 10-15 years at least. The most interesting part is dedicated to artificial T-cells and antibodies with tiny turbines able to absorb and destroy viruses. Science fiction or a reality coming soon?

Response from Dr. Holodniy

I believe this is reality coming soon. I can't say for certain what the timeline would be.

Any possibility of a cure in 5 years?
