Hep-C infecting New Liver

Dear Sirs, question/statement, please any info would not hurt. I have been transplanted Dec 06, 2006. two months ago livers enzymes,functions Alt/AST, 395/465. all are on the rise again, trans jugular biopsy shows, liver infected and FK still hi tachrolimus stopped and now on Cylosporin? last two weekes up thiis week from 150 twice a day to 175 also other meds associated duietic high blood pr, etc. high pain and fatigue, sleep apnia, w machine, Also last note mini stroke and bellspalsy, 10 day prior to transplant. left hosp. 199lbs year later swelled to 205, now nov, back down to 205, found out I was Hep-C in 1993, wend stage $ liver failure 2004, put on transplant list 2005. now due to recondition apparently starting again, chances are slim to NOT that I will get on the list again. non drinker or smoker 20 year Marine Vet thanks.

Not sure what your question is. HCV can certainly infect a transplanted liver. Your elevated liver enzymes may be due to that, to rejection, or to your transplant drug levels being too high. It sounds like your doctors are adjusting your transplant drugs accordingly.
