My wife have found HCV test positive and when I test RNA, it shows as follow: Hepatitis C Virous RNA(TaqMan) 3.68 x 10^6 IU/mL (6.57 Log) Assay dynamic range : 43 IU/mL to 6.90 x 10^7 IU/mL (estimated 116 copies/mL - 1.90 x 10^8 copies/mL) Lower Detection Limit: 15 IU/mL (estimated 40 copies/mL) Equivocal range : 15 IU/mL - 43 IU/mL Kindly hlep me to translate these result. Too dangerous for my wife? And she is 34 year old and 4 month pregnant . Please help us... |

The test means that she has 3.68 million copies of HCV per milliliter of blood. This is about average for someone with chronic HCV infection. | |||||||||
