Thanks for your previous response on rapid progression. A quick test done to confirm the earlier drop of CD4s to 224 confirmed the huge drop so I guess I am twice an unlucky person. Is there any data that shows whether people like me respond less or equally well to HAART when compared to normal people? Do we die faster even with HAART? Do we tend to be stuck in the forever in therapy but always suffering from opportunistic infections crowd?

I am not aware of data that looks at treatment response related to rapidity of CD4 decline prior to starting treatment. However, I don't think you will have any different kind of response to treatment and should recover your CD4 cells just fine after you start.
