| Does high ALT & AFP mean Liver Cancer? Oct 12, 2008 I has diagnosed with Hep C many decades ago. My ALT level is 165 and now I've just told my AFP is 137. I am scheduled for a CT Scan. I do have a problem with Alcohol. My average intake in a week would be a litre of wine. What is the probability of me having liver cancer. I'm 55 years old- woman. |

It is possible, but a liver scan and/or biopsy may be necessary to confirm the diagnosis. | |||||||||
