High viral load?
Oct 5, 2008

On May I was negative by ELISA. Septemeber I got an indeterminate Western. Doing a PCR, I found a viral load of 360.000 and CD4 of 496. Does this shows for sure Im HIV infected? Would it be time do take meds?

Response from Dr. Holodniy

Yes, and No. You need some more test results to see where the trend in CD4 count and viral load are going.
