Very high T-Cell Count Sep 21, 2008 I'm one of an apparently growing group of people who have developed abnormally high T-cell counts on HAART. My last count was 2300+ with within normal range percentage values and has been constistently above 1800 for a couple of years now. As somebody who over the last 20 years has had a 0 count several times and used to be ecstatic if I got above 400, it's all just a little strange. I'm not worried about this per se... but I've yet to be given a physiological explanation of these values and am unhappy with a simple assumption that they're 'probably OK' or that they're 'probably' not indicative of anything negative going on. Hope you can help with some more explanation. |

 Unfortunately, I have no explanation. Yes we do see this on occasion. If it is consistent, it is unlikely to be lab error. The only word of caution is to make sure there is no abnormality going on with your blood counts. | |||||||||
