Is He or Is HE not Aug 31, 2008 i have just been recently diagnosed Positive on July 9, 2008. I recently got my labs done. I have 1227 CD4 count and 3552 Virual Load. So for me i belive i recently got infected. I never had unprotected sex with my partner but after being tested positive for a week he has told me that the condom has broken 3 times prior. in the middle of june 2008 i had a horrible upper body rash what appeared to be a "HEAT RASH". is it possible that i contracted hiv recently or is this something that i may have had gotten a year ago? |

 You don't indicate whether you have had prior HIV testing that was negative. Yes, it certainly is possible that this is a recent infection. | |||||||||
