| HIV and Boils Mar 16, 2008 I'vd been HIV for 3 years and no meds - been to the doctor 3 times for boils (i.e. rectum, ankle and neck) - does have HIV make me more prone to these infections |

You don't indicate what your CD4 count or percent is. It is likely you have recurrent MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus) infections. MRSA infections are more likely to occur in those people with low CD4 counts, but not always. | ||||||||||
