| Hepatitis result Mar 15, 2008 I was diagnosed with HBsAg +ve in 2003 without any hepatitis illness before and since then. My recent test shows HBsAg +ve, HBeAg -ve and HBeAb +ve? Can you please help me interpret this result? Thanks a lot. |

You don't indicate whether you had a HBV viral load performed. You are at least HBV surface antigen positive, which indicates a low level of chronic infection. If the viral load is positive, depending on how high, and whether liver damage exists, you may need treatment. | |||||||||
